Hello everyone!
I’m Nisha Kumari from Gurugram, and I’m absolutely thrilled to share my story about my time at NIF Global Institute. Currently, I’m pursuing interior design, and I’m in my final year. It has truly been an incredible journey, filled with both challenges and triumphs. Looking back, I can confidently say it has been a transformative experience that has shaped me both professionally and personally.
During my time at NIF Global, I’ve gained an immense amount of knowledge about interior design, but more than that, I’ve experienced significant personal growth. The institute has provided me with a supportive and nurturing environment where I’ve had the freedom to explore my creativity and enhance my skills. Whether it was working on various projects, participating in workshops, or engaging with industry professionals, every experience has added value to my journey.
One of the highlights of my time at NIF Global has been the amazing faculty and the friends I’ve met along the way. The teachers here are seasoned professionals who are incredibly passionate about their craft. They have played a pivotal role in helping me develop my skills and refine my design thinking. I’ve also been fortunate to have wonderful friends who have been a constant source of support and motivation. We’ve had some memorable moments together, and their encouragement has made a huge difference in my journey.
NIF Global has given me countless opportunities to grow, both professionally and personally. The institute regularly organizes workshops, seminars, and competitions that help students gain practical experience and connect with the industry. One of the most defining moments of my journey was participating in Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. It had always been a dream of mine to get selected, and after three years of hard work and perseverance, I was finally chosen to compete.
The journey wasn’t easy. I didn’t make it past the first two rounds in my initial attempts, but I refused to give up. I worked harder, refined my skills, and gave it my all in my third year. That effort paid off when I was finally selected to compete. The competition was tough, but I was determined to give my best. I spent countless hours designing a set concept that would truly stand out, and when the judges selected me to move on to the next round, I was overjoyed.
Winning the competition was an unforgettable moment of pride and fulfillment. It wasn’t just about me—it was about all the support and encouragement I had received from my friends, family, and the entire NIF Global team. It was a reminder that hard work and dedication can lead to success, no matter how difficult the journey may seem.
As a winner, I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes at Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai. It was an experience of a lifetime! I had the chance to work with some of the best professionals in the industry, and I learned so much about set design, lighting, choreography, and music handling. The show director and the entire team were incredibly supportive, which made the experience even more enriching.
Reflecting on my time at NIF Global, I can confidently say that I’ve learned invaluable life lessons. I’ve learned that perseverance and determination are key to achieving success. I’ve also come to realize that it’s essential to stay focused, work hard, and, most importantly, believe in yourself. NIF Global has provided me with a platform to grow, learn, and showcase my skills, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities I’ve had.
As I near the end of my journey at NIF Global, I feel a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation. The institute has been instrumental in shaping my future, and I’m excited to take the lessons I’ve learned and apply them to my future endeavors. A big thank you to NIF Global Gurugram for providing me with such an incredible experience!
