The City of Dreams
London is not just a city—it’s a dream destination for every aspiring fashion designer. For me, being part of London Fashion Week was more than just witnessing glamorous runways and iconic designer collections; it was a full immersion into a world of creativity, innovation, and global fashion culture.
Fashion Beyond the Runway
The energy during Fashion Week was electric. Beyond the official shows, the entire city transformed into a vibrant playground of style. We explored hidden fashion pop-ups, edgy concept stores, and attended exclusive afterparties where the real creative pulse of the industry could be felt. London’s streets themselves were alive with inspiration—every corner, café, gallery, and boutique offered something new to discover.
Learning from the Best
What truly stood out was the learning. We had the incredible opportunity to be mentored by experienced faculty and fashion experts based in the UK. Their knowledge, warmth, and willingness to share real-world insights opened our minds to fresh perspectives. We were introduced to unique design techniques, global fashion trends, and industry expectations that went far beyond textbooks.
Exploring the City
We also had time to explore the city—each day was an adventure! From discovering new fashion brands to experiencing London’s rich culture, food, and architecture, every moment added to the magic. Our accommodation, the institute, and the overall environment were comfortable and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
Hands-On Experience
One of the highlights was working on our final portfolio and participating in a professional photoshoot. It gave us a hands-on experience of how international fashion campaigns come together, and it was both exciting and educational.
New Bonds and Memories
What made this journey even more special were the friendships and memories we created. I met so many wonderful people—from fellow students to mentors—and we all grew together in those few weeks. Even though we spent a month there, it felt like time flew by in the blink of an eye.
Gratitude and Takeaway
I’m incredibly grateful to the LST team and the NIF Global team for making this experience possible. It was truly one of the best chapters of my life, and I’ll cherish it forever.
